Mbappé Opens Up on His New Role in the France Team: “Now I Have to Take Care of Everyone”

Kylian Mbappé has spoken about how his role in the France national team has changed, admitting that he now feels like one of the senior players in the squad.
“Everything Is Different Now”
Mbappé explained that earlier in his career, everything was focused on helping him develop and protecting him as one of the young stars in the team.
But now the situation has completely changed.
He said: “It’s very different, everyone focuses on you and wants to take care of you. Now it’s the opposite: I’m the one who has to take care of everyone.”
From Young Talent to Leader
The French forward admitted that the change feels strange, especially because he is still only 27 years old but now has much more responsibility inside the team.
He added: “I was a pro, and some of my teammates were just kids. It’s weird to talk like an old man.”
New Role in the National Team
The comments show how Mbappé now sees himself as one of the leaders of the France squad, especially with younger players joining the team in recent years.
